The restoration of Vietnam - France Cultural Quarter will not only help Hoi An promote its unique values but also be a lever for developing tourism, attracting French and European tourists markets, opening more livelihoods and improving live for the people.

The Center for Culture-Sports and Radio-Television of Hoi An city has developed a project Restoring Vietnam - France Cultural Quarter in Hoi An, including the entire Phan Boi Chau street, and also arranged activities at Truong Minh Luong street to integrate the common space with Phan Boi Chau street.
 
The house at 33-35 Phan Boi Chau street will be a place to organize thematic activities and a center to coordinate activities on the whole route. In the long term, it will expand to Huyen Tran Cong Chua street, combine activities on the river; at the same time, it will gradually transform the facades of architecture type 4 on Nguyen Duy Hieu and Pham Hong Thai streets into French architecture type.
 
According to The Center for Culture-Sports and Radio-Television of Hoi An city, Vietnam - France Cultural Quarter will have a lot of cultural and diplomatic activities. For example, forming a central location is the French Cultural House, with thematic activities such as French art exhibition and display, French architecture, textile exhibition, French and European fashion shows, setting up bookshelves and French publications. Besides activities such as French music performance (street), opening French teaching classes, forming a club of French speakers, organizing scientific research activities on French architecture and culture, introducing French cuisine,... Vietnam - France Cultural Quarter in Hoi An also has a diplomatic mission between French - Vietnamese States, connecting with French Cultural Centers in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi city, connecting French culture lovers, French citizens to travel in Hoi An or organizing many coordination and support activities to develop.
